Hello Venus to release new album
Girl group Hello Venus will return to the public with their new record this month.
The girl band hinted at their impending comeback at midnight on Monday by releasing two photos of the members - Alice and Lime - that were taken while they were engaged in a shoot for their album jacket photos.
Also, the female idol group’s talent agency, Fantagio Music, confirmed their comeback with the comments, “Hello Venus will bring out a new album in July. They are almost finished with shooting their album jacket images.”
It is the girl band’s first album since their last digital single, “Wiggle Wiggle,” which was unveiled in January.
The girl band, which constitutes six members, has become a familiar presence among K-pop fans with their hits such as “What Are You Doing Today?,” “Sticky Sticky” and “Would You Stay for Tea?”
In addition to their music career, a few of the members have extended their activities to acting. Yooyoung, for example, took part in the movies “Slow Video” (2014) and “Futureless Things” (2014). In addition, Alice debuted as an actress for the first time last year through the TV drama “The Night Watchman’s Journal.”
