Beast readying new album

The all-male act Beast will bring out a new album in July. The upcoming record is meaningful in that all five members will participate.

The boy band marked their return by posting a video clip to alert fans of their near comeback through the official YouTube channel and various social networking sites of Cube Entertainment, the band’s agency.

According to Yong Jun-hyung, Beast’s representative producer, “They are in the final phases of their new album.”

He added, “The upcoming music is bright with an upbeat rhythm.”

The band is expected to announce further details, such as the specific date for the record’s release, in the near future.

Since debuting in 2009 with their first album, “Beast is the B2ST,” they have enjoyed solid popularity thanks to various hits such as “Breath,” “Hands Up” and “Fiction.” The band’s popularity is evidenced by the fact that they received 19 trophies last year for their songs “Good Luck” and “12:30.”

Members of the group are also engaging in different projects in addition to their music career. Yoon Du-jun, for example, has starred in various TV dramas such as tvN’s “Let’s Eat” (2013-14) and its sequel “Let’s Eat2” (2015). Yong Jun-hyung has also appeared in several TV channels, including tvN’s drama “Monstar” (2013) and MBC’s TV show “Idol Maid” (2010).
