Kumho supplying tires for Dodge's Viper ACR supercar

Kumho Tire said Monday it started supplying original equipment (OE) tires for the premium supercar Dodge Viper ACR. After being selected as the exclusive supplier for Chrysler’s high-performance tires last year, the company said it started supplying its newly developed product, the Ecsta V720, for the 2016 edition of Viper, which is being manufactured at Dodge’s Detroit plant. The company is shipping the V720s to Detroit after producing them at its Gwangju plant. The tires use materials and technologies that are being used for racing tires to provide high-quality driving performance and grip force for speed-lovers. The 2016 Viper ACR is the fastest car among any Viper models. “Our recent technology for high-performance cars has been recognized in the world once again by supplying the V720 to the Viper,” the company said in a statement.
