As one can tell from the title, singer-songwriter 20 Years of Age’s first official album, “20, Again,” sings of the emotions and experiences one might have undergone at 20 years old. The song “The 11 Numbers that I Cannot Forget” is about a young man who continues to long for a lover he recently broke up with, while “Let’s Walk, I’m in Front of Your House” captures the feelings of a new couple as they go on a walk together.
Indeed, all of the songs on “20, Again” are about moments so ordinary they might even seem bland. However, the way 20 Years of Age delivers his songs, through his sincere lyrics and warm voice, keeps them from being so. The track, “You Are,” could have been a cliche song about a young man in love, but the way the lyrics capture feelings gives it a touching quality. Another song, “I Am Your Peter Pan,” expresses the singer’s longing for his innocent childhood.
After making his debut with his 2013 single “20,” 20 Years of Age has been loved for his fresh and subtle sensitivity. The new album brims with his unique charm.
