‘Superstar K’ attracts diverse judgesHip hop artist and music producer Zion. T and trot singer Hong Jin-young reportedly worked as the special panel of judges for the seventh season of Mnet’s survival audition program “Superstar K.”
“The two singers recently took part in the preliminary stages of the audition program as special judges,” according to a person involved with the popular program on Wednesday.
“Even though the two pursue different music genres, they worked hard to evaluate [the performers competing on the show].”
Other singers, such as Gain from female group Brown Eyed Girls and Huh Gak, the winner of “Superstar K 2,” are also scheduled to participate in the upcoming program as special judges.
“Superstar K 7,” which has invited musicians Baek Ji-young, Kim Bum-soo, Yoon Jong-shin and Sung Si-kyung as main judges, is scheduled to premiere on Aug. 20 at 11 p.m.
