Primary to release new album

Rapper and music producer Primary will release his first regular album in three years since his last record, “Primary and the Messengers LP,” came out in October 2012.

According to his label, Amoeba Culture, on Monday, the musician will release the upcoming record titled “2” on Aug. 12, when it will become available through both online and offline stores.

Primary has been releasing a series of singles relating to the number 2 such as “2-1,” “2-2” and “2-3” over the past few months. Every time he has unveiled a record, he has received praise for his musical ability and for having popular singers, such as Gaeko from Dynamic Duo and Beenzino from Illionaire Records, featured in his songs.

The news of Primary’s upcoming album is arousing the interest of many people, as the singer was embroiled in plagiarism accusations in 2013 for “I Got C,” on which he collaborated with entertainer Park Myung-soo during the biennial music festival held by the reality program “Infinite Challenge.”
