Crayon Pop heading to JapanAll-female act Crayon Pop will hold fan meet-up events in Japan even after a recent car accident, according to their talent agency, Chrome Entertainment, on Sunday.
The events are scheduled to promote their latest Japanese debut single, “Ra Ri Ru Re,” released last month. The fan meet-ups will take place on Sept. 4 and Sept. 5 in Osaka and Tokyo.
The upcoming events are especially meaningful for the girl group because they are the first events since they signed a contract with Japanese record label Pony Canyon.
According to a person involved with Chrome Entertainment, “Thankfully, there was not a single member who complained of pain [after the car crash]. Since their muscles were a little sore, they dropped by an oriental medical clinic to get acupuncture,” adding that Crayon Pop will attend all the events planned in Korea and abroad.
The five members were involved in a car accident on Thursday on the Gyeongbu Expressway in Seocho District, southern Seoul, when a bus rear-ended their van.
Both the members and their driver went to a hospital for check-ups but suffered only minor injuries. All the passengers on the bus were also unharmed.
