Lee gets 1st goal for EPL’s Crystal Palace

Korean national team winger Lee Chung-yong scored his first goal for Crystal Palace on Wednesday (Korean time) to help his English Premier League club reach the third round of the Capital Cup.

At Selhurst Park in London, Lee scored the third goal against Shrewsbury in extra time to contribute to the team’s 4-1 victory.

The match went into overtime after the two teams tied 1-1 in 90 minutes. Lee scored a goal from the left side of the penalty box in the 97th minute after Glenn Murray converted the penalty two minutes earlier.
