A board at the Korea Exchange Bank in downtown Seoul Wednesday shows the benchmark Kospi closing 2.57 percent higher than the previous day. This was the second day the Kospi advanced after the market’s losing streak of six consecutive days ended Tuesday. Wednesday’s climb was steeper than the day before thanks to the Chinese government easing its monetary policy the previous night. [NEWSIS]
