Sung Si-kyung to host TV special

Ballad singer Sung Si-kyung has been cast as one of the main hosts of the KBS 2TV special program “Do What You Want” (working title), which will be aired during the Chuseok holiday, according to a person affiliated with KBS’s entertainment department on Thursday.

The show, which aired in June as a pilot program, revolves around various celebrities who attempt to decide which clothes to wear without the help of a stylist.

Along with Sung, various other celebrities, including comedian Jung Hyung-don and former national football player Ahn Jung-hwan, will join the variety program as hosts.

“Sung Si-kyung, Ahn Jung-hwan and Jung Hyung-don will check out celebrities’ closets and reveal their own fashion styles in ‘Do What You Want.’ Please have high expectations for the three hosts running the humorous program,” said a person involved with the show.

Sung, who originally debuted as a signer with various mega-hits such as “To You,” has extended his activities to hosting various entertainment programs. A few of the shows that he appears on include “Non-Summit” (2014-15), “Witch Hunt” (2013-15) and “Super Star K 7” (2015).
