Low-price apartments
President Park Geun-hye, right, is briefed by Daelim Industrial President Kim Han-ki, third from left, on the company’s new apartment development, which is part of the government-led long-term lease housing project for low-and-middle income households, dubbed “New Stay,” in Incheon on Thursday. Daelim became the first private company to construct a privatized long-term lease apartment. In the past, such units were managed by state-run companies. The government hopes that providing high-quality housing at affordable prices will improve the housing situation. [Joint Press Corp.]
