Mithra Jin to marry actress
Singer Mithra Jin from hip-hop trio Epik High will tie the knot with actress Kwon Da-hyun next month.
“Mithra Jin and Kwon Da-hyun will hold a private wedding on Oct. 2 at a wedding hall in Seoul,” announced the male celebrity’s talent agency, YG Entertainment, on Friday.
“The couple will delay their honeymoon until Epik High completes their solo concert on Oct. 18 at Blaisdell Concert Hall in Hawaii.”
The pair officially announced that they were involved in a romantic relationship during the press preview of the movie “How to Steal a Dog” (2014) last December. During the event, they explained that they have been dating for around two years.
Furthermore, the musician revealed during the MBC FM4U radio program “Tablo’s Dreaming Radio” on Aug. 10 that he and Kwon would be getting married.
“I finally get to get married. I will tie the knot in early October. I wanted to pass on the news to you guys first. I hope many people support and celebrate [our marriage],” Jin said on the show.
Mithra Jin has achieved many musical accomplishments as a member of Epik High. A few of the group’s mega-hits include “Fly,” “Love Love Love” and “Born Hater.”
His fiancee debuted in 2006 but her activities in the entertainment industry have not been frequent. A few of the drama series she has appeared in are “The City Hall” (2009), “Empress Cheonchu” (2009) and “When Spring Comes” (2007).
