Jung Hyung-don out with pneumonia

Popular entertainer Jung Hyung-don from “Infinite Challenge” has made news by announcing that he will put all activities on hold due to pneumonia.

The 37-year-old is currently undergoing treatment for his symptoms, and therefore will not be able to take part in all the programs he is scheduled to engage in this week, according to Jung’s talent agency, FNC Entertainment, on Monday.

“We will determine when he will be able to return to recording shows based on the speed of his recovery. However, he will relax and rest for the time being before he continues with his plans.”

Jung is said to have explained his illness to the production crew, and the two sides are reported to have discussed the issue.

A person affiliated with JTBC, the channel that airs the variety program “Please Take Care of My Refrigerator,” in which Jung stars, said Monday, “Jung won’t be able to take part in today’s recording for the show. Instead, one of the chefs will take Jung’s place to host the program as a one-day MC with the other host, Kim Sung-joo.”

In addition to the JTBC show, Jung currently stars in other variety programs, including “Weekly Idol” and “Our Neighborhood Arts and Physical Education.”
