Samsung combines resources in new office in Silicon ValleySamsung Electronics completed the new office for its Device Solutions business in Silicon Valley on Friday, putting together resources from across the region to better support its U.S. operations. Since the division is focused on producing memory chips, the building is equipped with cutting edge equipment to support research and development of different semiconductors. The new office was designed by architecture firm NBBJ and built by Webcor Builders. Some 800 people were invited to celebrate the completion, including Kwon Oh-hyun, Chief Executive Officer of Samsung Electronics, and San Jose Mayor Sam Riccardo. Samsung Electronics said the new office will bring together staff and research facilities that were spread across the U.S.
