BTOB returns with new mini album

K-pop boy group BTOB will release their seventh mini album, “I Mean,” on Oct. 12, three months after the release of their previous mini album, “Complete.”

Cube Entertainment, which is home to acts like Beast and 4Minute, teased poster images of the seven-member boy group on Thursday through its official Instagram account and signaled the release of the upcoming album.

Unlike the group’s previous songs, which were mostly upbeat dance tunes, Cube Entertainment said “I Mean” features ballad songs because many music aficionados love to listen to ballads in the fall.

Although BTOB debuted in the music scene in 2012, the group topped online music charts for the first time in their career in June with “It’s Okay,” a title track from
“Complete.”

Of the seven members, Yook Sung-jae is appearing in the popular reality TV show “We Got Married,” which pairs up celebrities to let them experience marital life.

Yook’s partner on the show is Joy of girl group Red Velvet.
