Korea Exchange puts C&T at top of the Kospi for September

Samsung C&T ranked at the top of Korea’s benchmark Kospi market as of the end of September, on the assumption that the face value of all companies’ stocks is 5,000 won ($4.20), despite the 17.7 percent crash in its share prices during the month.

The Korea Exchange released a list of the top 10 companies whose stock prices are converted on the assumption that their par value is 5,000 won to gauge their de facto value in the same condition.

Samsung C&T, whose par value was 100 won for its initial public offering, hit 7,325,000 won in its conversion price at the end of September, falling from its previous 8,900,000 won a month earlier.
