Military athletes take a group selfie at the main stadium in Mungyeong, North Gyeongsang, before they attend the opening ceremony of the Military World Games on Friday. Some 7,300 military athletes from 122 countries will participate in the games, which will run until Oct. 11. There will be a total of 24 events with 248 gold medals up for grabs. Five of the sports are disciplines that can only be seen in the military games.By Gong Jeong-sik
