New song coming soon from HIGHGRND
The indie music label HIGHGRND revealed on Friday the last musician who will participate in the upcoming song “Parachute.”
The music label, led by rapper Tablo from the hip-hop trio Epik High, said that producer Code Kunst collaborated with hip-hop musician Dok2 and indie musician Oh Hyuk, the frontman of the indie band Hyukoh, for “Parachute,” which talks about the lives of three young men.
HIGHGRND said “Parachute” will entertain the ears of music listeners with beats by Code Kunst, the rapping of Dok2 and vocals by Oh, probably the most up-and-coming indie musician these days.
The song will be unveiled on Oct. 20.
HIGHGRND is a project of YG Entertainment, home to musicians like Big Bang, Psy and 2NE1.
Yang Hyun-suk, the head of the entertainment company, told the local media last year that he wanted to create a place for indie musicians through the indie music label that was launched in August.
