Local parts makers visited to strike Daimler-Benz deals

Merchandisers from Daimler-Benz, the German automobile and auto parts maker, Asia-Pacific offices visited Korea to make deals with local small and midsize parts makers, the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (Kotra) said on Thursday. The visit was intended to find local partners in alternative drive systems (ADS) and telematics, key technologies in developing future automobiles such as driverless cars.
