Traditional ink painter Lim Hyun-lak’s artwork “Breath ? 1 second” is installed at the Museum of Art at Seoul National University in southwestern Seoul. The work consists of several long, translucent textiles, on each of which the artist dashed off one stroke of the brush as if leaving a trace of his breath. It is part of the exhibition titled “Visions of Macro and Micro: Phenomena of Korean and Taiwanese Ink Paintings.” The show runs through Nov. 22.
