Girl group 4Minute to visit Latin America
Five-member K-pop group 4Minute will go on a fan meet tour in Latin America next month.
Cube Entertainment, which represents the girl group, said Thursday that 4Minute will hold fan meet events in Peru on Nov. 8, Chile on Nov. 10 and Argentina on Nov. 12 as part of “4Minute Fan Bash in Latin America.”
Cube added that 4Minute is the first K-pop girl group to hold fan meet events in Latin America.
The agency expects about 10,000 fans at the events, and the group will perform their various hits.
“We have been receiving many requests from Latin American fans,” the agency said.
4Minute released the mini album “Crazy” in February. After promoting the album, each member has been pursuing individual projects.
Jeon Ji-yoon is appearing in the second season of the popular reality TV show “Unpretty Rapstar,” a competition for female rappers, while Nam Ji-hyun is appearing in the web drama series “She is 200 Years Old.”
The girl group debuted in 2009 and has had numerous hits like “What’s Your Name?” and “Hot Issue.”
