Korea’s No. 1 low-cost carrier Jeju Air debuted on the Kospi on Friday, closing at 48,100 won ($42.2). Its market cap at 1.25 trillion won surpassed the 956 billion won of Asiana Airlines, the second-largest carrier in Korea. The closing price is lower than the initial price at 49,500 won, but is 65 percent higher than the offering price of 30,000 won. [NEWSIS]
