Actress Kim Yun-jin will appear in the fourth season of the U.S. drama series “Mistresses,” the 42-year-old actress’ agency, Zion Entertainment, said on Tuesday.
In the series, which centers on the lives of four female friends and their relationships, Kim plays the role of psychiatrist Karen Kim.
It has been reported that Kim will receive 400 million won ($346,000) per episode for the fourth season of the show.
The first season was broadcast on ABC in July 2013, and the third season came to an end in September, reaping the highest viewership among all network TV shows of the same time slot.
Shooting for the fourth season will begin in February.
Kim began her acting career in Korea in 1996 and soared to nationwide stardom with the 1999 blockbuster film “Shiri.” She then began auditioning for projects in the United States, and her first U.S. role was a part in the series “Lost.”
