First ‘Frozen Day’ to kick off on Dec. 26Disney Channel Korea has designated Dec. 26 as “Frozen Day,” and the animated feature film and related videos will be aired throughout the day.
The channel said on Wednesday that this will be its first time airing “Frozen,” which attracted 10 million moviegoers in Korea when it was released in January 2014. “Frozen” was the first animated feature film to achieve such huge success in Korea.
Two versions of “Frozen” - one dubbed and the other with Korean subtitles - will hit the air along with other videos. For example, “Frozen Fever,” a short film which tells the story of Anna’s birthday party, and 15 short videos of Olaf will also air on “Frozen Day.”
“Frozen Fever” came out after the release of “Frozen.”
The channel is also holding photo competitions to commemorate “Frozen Day.” For more information, visit www.disney.co.kr (Korean only).
