Red Velvet releases new song for the winter
“Wish Tree” is reportedly a seasonal winter song with an acoustic guitar arrangement.
SM Entertainment, one of the nation’s three major entertainment agencies along with YG Entertainment and JYP Entertainment, launched a winter project called Winter Garden, and girl group f(x) was the first to release a song - “Wish List” - on Tuesday.
Prior to the digital single’s online release, some members of Red Velvet and f(x) were scheduled to appear on an SM Entertainment channel on V, a smartphone application that airs celebrity broadcasts, at 11 p.m. on Thursday to share their New Year’s resolutions and some behind-the-scenes episodes from the Winter Garden project.
Meanwhile, SM Entertainment also organized a music video contest to mark the launch of the project.
To enter the contest, one needs to make a music video using one of the songs from the Winter Garden project and upload it to SM Town’s official website.
The winner will earn a chance to produce a music video for SM Entertainment.
