‘Infinite Challenge’ named top TV program

The most-loved TV show in Korea this year is “Infinite Challenge,” according to Gallup Korea.

The survey organizer said on Wednesday that the TV show, featuring Yoo Jae-suk and other comedians, has been the No. 1 show for the past 12 months.

Yoo and his fellow comedians are challenged to various tasks, from walking down fashion runways to hosting a music festival by collaborating with professional musicians.

The show first aired in May 2006 and has become one of the most influential cultural fixtures.

Other reality TV shows that made the top 10 list include “The Return of Superman,” “King of Mask Singer” and “Three Meals a Day.”

TV drama series “She Was Pretty,” “Reply 1988” and “My Daughter, Geum Sa-wol” were also chosen as popular TV shows in Korea.
