Apink kicks off North American concert tour
K-pop girl group Apink has arrived in Canada for a North American concert tour.
Member Chorong posted on Twitter on Monday, “We have safely landed in Canada. Thank you to the Canadian fans who came to the airport to greet us. We were surprised to see you. I’ll see you on the day of the concert.”
Apink also uploaded two photos showing Chorong and Namjoo posing on a hotel terrace.
“Pink Memory: Apink North American Tour 2016” is the six-member girl group’s first tour in North America.
The first concert will be held today in Vancouver, and the group will also perform in Dallas, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Having debuted in 2011, Apink has released hits such as “Luv,” “Mr. Chu” and “No No No.”
Before the group left for Canada, they held “Pink Memory Day” on Saturday, where they watched a film together with fans.
