Solo concert series planned for Ryeowook



Ryeowook, a member of the K-pop boy band Super Junior, will hold his first solo concert series.

According to SM Entertainment, which represents the 28-year-old, the singer will hold concerts from Feb. 19 to 21 at COEX Artium, located in Samseong-dong, Gangnam District, southern Seoul.

The concert series is titled “Ever Lasting Star ? Ryeowook.”

The concert is fourth of SM’s concert series titled “The Agit.” The entertainment company has been holding concerts featuring SM artists such as Taeyeon of Girls’ Generation and Jonghyun of Shinee.

Ryeowook debuted in 2005 as part of Super Junior and has been performing in spinoff groups of Super Junior on and off. He has also sung original soundtrack songs for drama series and has done musicals. He is currently hosting a radio show called “Kiss the Radio” on KBS Cool FM.

Tickets for Ryeowook’s first solo concert will go on sale on Wednesday at 8 p.m. through Yes24.com.
