Big winK-pop boy group Big Bang swept the 30th Golden Disc Awards, the country’s longest-running music awards, held on Wednesday night in Seoul. The five-member group won the Grand Prize, the Main Prize and the iQiyi Best Male Artist award - named after one of the China’s largest video-sharing websites - and hinted imminent military enlistment during the acceptance speech.
“We received 23 awards last year alone, and this is all thanks to you,” member T.O.P said. “But only a year is left for us to show you awesome performances [as Big Bang]. We’ll do our best until then.” None of the members have completed their mandatory service yet.
