Japanese fashion magazine to feature Exo

K-pop boy group Exo has become a cover model for the Japanese monthly fashion magazine Non-No.

SM Entertainment, which represents the 10-member group, said on Wednesday that Exo has become the first K-pop boy group to appear on the magazine’s cover in its 45-year history.

The February edition of the magazine reportedly includes interviews with Exo along with sets of postcards bearing photos of the boy group.

Exo advanced to the Japanese music market last November by releasing the debut single “Love Me Right - Romantic Universe,” and the album sold 147,000 copies in the first week of its release in the country.

Meanwhile, Exo recently wrapped up promotion for the seasonal song “Song for You” in December, and the K-pop act is taking a break while some individual members are pursuing their own activities.

“Pure Love,” a romantic film starring D.O., also known as Do Kyung-soo, is slated to open in theaters nationwide on Feb. 24, and Xiumin is recuperating after he hurt his knee during the filming of special TV show “Idol Star Athletics Championship” on Tuesday.
