Apple has issued a voluntary recall of millions of its two-prong AC wall plugs. Korea is one of the affected countries along with Argentina, Australia and Brazil.
In a statement released on Thursday, the company said the plug adapters may break and create a risk of electrical shock.
Apple added that it was aware of 12 incidents worldwide. The company will exchange affected wall plug adapters with a new, redesigned adapter, free of charge.
The affected adapters were shipped with Macs and some of its iOS devices sold from 2003 to 2015.
