Hanwha Group sets higher revenue target of 65.7 trillion won
Hanwha Group set a revenue target of 65.7 trillion won ($55.8 billion) this year, about 9 percent higher than last year’s 60.2 trillion won, the conglomerate announced on Friday.To that end, it will invest 3.4 trillion won this year. Of it, 2.8 trillion won will be assigned to domestic businesses including solar power, retail and leisure sectors, and the remaining 600 billion won will go to businesses abroad.
Hanwha also unveiled a long-term goal to achieve 100 trillion won revenue by 2020. It will hire 5,100 entry-level workers this year, an equivalent of 12 percent of total employees.
