After troubles, Incheon Airport gets a new boss

Incheon International Airport, which recently came under fire for luggage delivery problems and security breaches, welcomed a new CEO, Chung Il-young, on Tuesday.

The nation’s main airport has suffered from an absence of leadership after its former CEO Park Wan-su resigned in December to run in the April general election.

At his inauguration event at the airport, Chung announced a contingency management plan to strengthen operations over the Lunar New Year holiday and a reshuffle in management. Chung is a former government official who spent his entire career at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
