Goo Ha-ra lands a part in new drama series

In the upcoming drama series, Goo reportedly plays the role of a nanny who is fluent in multiple languages.
Although the drama is a mere fill-in for another drama that ended prematurely, its well-written script and storyline is viewed highly within broadcasting circles.
After leaving Kara, Goo signed a contract with Keyeast Entertainment, which is home to actors like Kim Soo-hyun.
Goo debuted in 2008 as a member of the now-defunct girl group.
Kara was much loved for their dance tunes such as “Mister” and “Lupin,” and the four-member girl group also successfully advanced to the Japanese music market. But the group broke up when three members, including Goo, refused to extend their contracts with the management agency.
After leaving the girl group, Goo decided to focus on acting, but she has mostly landed cameo or supporting roles on and off.
