The nuclear-powered submarine USS North Carolina enters a South Korean naval base port in Busan on Tuesday after participating in a joint military drill between South Korea and the United States. The submarine measures 115 meters (377 feet) in length and has 130 officers and sailors, Tomahawk long-range subsonic cruise missiles (BGM-109), and Mk-48 heavyweight torpedoes. [SONG BONG-GEUN]
