Jumbos beat Hansae to end seven game losing streak
No. 4 Incheon Korea Air Jumbos finally ended their seven-game losing streak after defeating Seoul Woori Card Hansae on Wednesday and added hope for the playoffs.
Pavel Vasilievitch Moroz led the Jumbos with 30 points while Sin Young-soo added 10 points.
Owing to the win, the Jumbos narrowed the gap with the No. 3 Daejeon Samsung Bluefangs to 5 points.
In the men’s V-League, the top three teams in the league advance to the playoff. In a case where the point difference between No.3 and No.4 is less than three points, the two teams play an extra game with the No.3 team given a free set in the match. This means if No.4 wins the second set, then the two teams play third set for a tie breaker.
The Jumbos will play No.6 Gumi KB Insurance Stars on Feb. 27.
