KEB Hana Bank launches first robo-adviser service

KEB Hana Bank launched its Cyber Private Banker (PB) service operated by its own robo-adviser on Wednesday. The bank said it will be the first time a local financial institute has run the service by robots that they developed themselves.

A robo-adviser is an online wealth management service that provides automated, algorithm-based portfolio management advice without the help of human financial planners. The bank has been offering PB service to its long-time customers or those that hold more than 30 million won ($24,660) in their accounts. The bank said every customer can now enjoy PB service through the newly launched Cyber PB.
