Amy, a Korean-American TV personality who was deported from Korea last year due to drug charges, has been hospitalized in the United States.

Amy is reported to be suffering from injuries and shock after a physical brawl and was hospitalized in southern California on Wednesday.

After being deported in December, Amy was reportedly staying at a house near Los Angeles owned by a man surnamed Hwang. During an altercation between Hwang and his wife, surnamed Heo, the celebrity tried to intervene on the side of Hwang.

Amy, along with sending photos of her bruised face, told SBS that she merely asked them to stop fighting, and Heo reacted violently, leading to her current condition. Amy added that three policemen came and confirmed Heo’s beating of Amy and promised to be witnesses at a later deposition.

Heo, on the other hand, said that she merely shoved Amy and alluded to her continued drug usage. Heo accused Amy in the interview of causing trouble in the household, leaving drugs where the kids might be exposed to them.

Amy was convicted for abusing propofol, a medication utilized as an anesthetic, in 2012. In 2014, the TV personality was convicted again for using different medication in an inappropriate fashion, leading to her deportation to the United States in 2015.
