CJ Group plans to hire 10% more workers this year
Published: 10 Mar. 2016, 21:06
The plan for new regular workers represents a 10 percent increase compared to the previous year’s 2,700. The food and retail conglomerate said it decided to increase the number of new hires to contribute to the government’s initiative to ease high youth unemployment, though economic and market conditions at home and abroad have turned unfavorable toward the group’s businesses.
Over 10 CJ affiliates, including entertainment unit CJ E&M and food maker CJ CheilJedang, will open some 100 different positions.
The results of the first screening will come out in April, and those who pass the first round have to undergo written tests and interviews.
