Kim Sung-joo to host game show on MBC
Announcer Kim Sung-joo is set to join Lee Kyung-kyu to host the MBC entertainment show “People of Full Capacity.”
MBC announced Wednesday that the personnel change will take effect on April 7.
As the time slot for the show changed from Fridays to Thursdays, the original host, Kim Gu-ra, left to avoid appearing on multiple programs on different broadcasters simultaneously.
Reportedly, Kim Gu-ra strongly recommended Kim Sung-joo, whom he has known through many different TV programs including “King of Mask Singer,” as his replacement.
“People of Full Capacity” features enthusiasts from different fields. Once they showcase their expertise or ability, the audience casts votes to decide whether the contestant’s ability is better than that of the contestant from the previous edition. If the contestant garners more votes, he or she is bestowed some cash as a reward.
