Actor Park Hae-jin helping children in China

Korean Wave star Park Hae-jin is donating money to help children in China.
Park’s promoter, NHS HQ, announced Friday that the actor plans to donate his earnings from his 10-year anniversary fan meet to the Shanghai Babies Home.
Chinese video site Youku bought the rights to broadcast the event in China, and the entire revenue from the broadcast will be donated to Park’s cause.
“The center is a private organization set up to support abandoned or sick children to get adopted by families,” said the promoter.
Park reportedly has been sponsoring the facility for a long time with the revenue generated from the theaters in China named after him.
The actor even received an award in 2014 from the Chinese government for is philanthropy, becoming the first Korean recipient of the honor.
