Actor Seo Kang-jun holds fan meet in Japan
Actor Seo Kang-jun encountered about 1,000 fans at his fan meet in Japan, according to his agency, Fantagio, on Tuesday.
At the fan meet held on Sunday in Osaka, Seo reportedly spent time with fans doing various activities including singing the original soundtrack song of the drama he recently starred in, “Cheese in the Trap,” and having conversations with fans.
“I have been nervous about my first solo fan meet but also excited at the same time,” the actor said. “It was definitely a pleasure to be able to interact with fans at a personal level, and I’m thankful for the opportunity.”
The actor is a member of the acting group Surprise and has experienced a group fan meet but not a solo one.
Following the successful sold-out event, another fan encounter is scheduled for June 11 in Tokyo.
The Korean Wave star earned his international popularity through his role as Baek In-ho in the drama “Cheese in the Trap.” The drama, despite its initial success, was surrounded by much controversy later on due to a dispute with the writer of the original webtoon.
