Mighty Mouth returns, launches own label

Mighty Mouth, a hip-hop duo consisting of Sangchu and Shorry, is returning to the music scene after a three-year hiatus.

The group on Thursday announced its imminent comeback and declared the launch of its own company, All Mighty Records.

Sangchu, through his social media account, expressed excitement for the comeback, saying, “We will do our best.”

Since their previous song, “Good Bye,” came out in December 2012, the group left the spotlight due to Sangchu’s military service. The rap star was heavily criticized during his military tenure for arbitrarily leaving his post.

Shorry, on the other hand, has been relatively more visible in the K-pop scene, releasing a few albums and appearing on TV.

The duo debuted in the Korean music scene in 2008 with the song “I Love You.” Known for upbeat and invigorating tunes, Mighty Mouth has had many popular songs, including “Energy,” “Tok Tok” and “Lalala.”
