Strength from without
A member of a research team at Hyundai Motor Group demonstrates the strength of an exoskeleton suit that the Korean automaker’s researchers, including some from major affiliates such as Kia Motors, Hyundai Mobis, Hyundai Rotem and Hyundai Wia, jointly developed. The picture was posted on Hyundai Motor’s blog on May 11. According to Hyundai Motor, the suit can be used on its assembly lines for trains and automobiles, and also used for military purposes, as it can reach 6 kilometers per second (4 miles per second) while carrying 50 kilograms (110 pounds) of military gear and easily go through obstacles.
