Jessica visits Park Myung-soo’s radio show

Singer Jessica, a former member of the K-pop group Girls’ Generation, reunited with comedian Park Myung-soo Thursday through Park’s live radio show, “Park Myung-soo’s Radio Show.”

The two sang together a song called “Naengmyeon” seven years ago as part of the hit reality TV show “Infinite Challenge.”

The TV show holds a music festival every other year where the show’s cast members pair up with professional singers to collaborate on a song.

Park, a regular cast member of “Infinite Challenge,” and Jessica worked on “Naengmyeon,” and the song is still heard everywhere when the mercury begins to climb, because naengmyeon, a cold noodle dish, is widely enjoyed during the summer.

“I could become more famous thanks to that song,” Jessica said on the radio show.

Jessica recently released a solo album, and her title track, “Fly,” topped major music charts upon release.

The 27-year-old singer debuted as a member of Girls’ Generation in 2007, but SM Entertainment, the group’s agency, announced Jessica’s departure from the group in September 2014. SM, however, did not elaborate on the reason for pulling her out of the group.

The singer is also currently running her own fashion business.
