Kim Ha-neul to return to the drama scene
A person working for the drama team of a local broadcasting station told Ilgan Sports on Tuesday that Kim will play the role of a flight attendant in the upcoming drama series “A Way to the Airport.”
The drama is scheduled to air sometime in September.
The 38-year-old actress will reportedly play the role of Choi Su-ah, who has been working for a cabin crew for 12 years, and the series will deal with concerns and frustration of people in their late 30s and early 40s.
Although Kim appeared in the melodrama film “Remember You” in 2014, this will be Kim’s first drama series since “A Gentleman’s Dignity” in 2012.
It is also Kim’s first project since she got married in March.
Having started out in 1996 as a fashion model, Kim has been appearing in dramas and films, mostly romantic comedies, and she is often dubbed the queen of romantic comedy.
