A pair of storks, whose species is one of Korea’s natural monuments, are released from a cage into nature on Tuesday in Yesan County, South Chungcheong. The male stork, born in 1996, and the female stork, born in 1999, have for some time inhabited a large cage for gradual adaptation to the wild. [KIM SEONG-TAE]
