Luna breaks the stereotype that electronic music cannot deliver any emotion. Her warm voice blends well with the sophisticated sounds on all tracks of her album “Free Somebody.”

Her solo debut reflects the color of the K-pop girl group f(x), in which she is the main vocalist, yet allows more room for her to show her potential. It is her first solo album since she debuted with the group seven years ago.

“Free Somebody” is the title song that Luna seems to have special affection for, as it sounds refined and polished. People can get a glimpse of her stage performance through the track’s music video, as it reveals most of the choreography and overall mood of the song.

The songs “My Medicine” and “I Wish” were written and composed by Luna herself. “Keep on Doin’” is the second-most popular track, with its sensuous beat and repetitive hook.

While the album seems to reflect her passion for music, it has not been gaining much attention. Overall, the album is quite experimental, while most have been looking forward to hearing her sing ballads.
