Four members of 4Minute may leave group

테스트

K-pop girl group 4Minute is at risk of breaking up.

According to sources in the entertainment industry on Monday, four members of the group are facing termination of their contracts with their talent agency, Cube Entertainment, in mid-June.

“Each member of the group is considering taking different career paths - from singing to acting - and it may be difficult to maintain the act,” according to a source from the entertainment industry.

Hyuna is reported to be the only member who renewed her contract with the agency, while the other four members are still making up their minds.

Many 4Minute fans are expressing their grief upon hearing the news, as there was no suspicion that the group might disband until the news on Monday.

Since debuting in 2009, the act has garnered lots of fans not only within Korea but also abroad for their unique music and performance style.

The group has had many hit songs, including “Heart to Heart,” “Volume Up” and “Crazy.”

Meanwhile, 4Minute member Hyuna is known to be currently working on a solo album.
