Jo Se-ho, Kim Sung-kyu to team up

Comedian Jo Se-ho and singer Kim Sung-kyu from the K-pop boy group Infinite will host a new JTBC reality program titled “Girl Spirit.”

The upcoming entertainment show is a competition program that revolves around discovering hidden female idol stars with great singing abilities. The program aims to find talented female singers who have been passed over despite their talents.

Jo and Kim will participate in the first shooting of the program in late June, and the first episode is slated to hit the air in mid-July.

Jo’s ability as a rising star to lighten the atmosphere with humorous comments and Kim’s experience as an idol singer are expected to play important roles in leading the program.

In addition to the hosts and participants, former K-pop stars will also take part in the program as producers to strictly evaluate and give honest advice to the participants.

Besides the upcoming program, Jo is currently starring in the exercise program “My Body Guard” and “We Got Married,” which shows how a marriage would be between pairs of celebrities.

Other than his music career, Kim has also engaged in numerous TV shows such as the travel program “Fluttering India” (2015).
